Slopes within slopes

Skiing and snowboarding are only possible through slope and gravity. Ski Addict is designed to house slopes within slopes. Its roofs are continuously stacked, creating an interior space which is low at the front for the lobby and rises at the back to accommodate the ski slope hall. The gaps between these roof planes create a resonating ceiling and lighting rhythm. As the edges of the roof and ceiling glide away, their planes run continuously, shaping a space dynamic enough to encourage movements while preserving a clean and clear outline to maintain a much-needed focus on the slope, at a different speed and direction following gravity pull.
